December 2014, Fort Devens, Massachusetts
Hanscom Composite Squadron honors the veterans laid to rest at Fort Devens with a wreath laid on each of the 426 graves.
Along with the Hanscom Cadets and several Hanscom Senior members participating in the ceremony were active duty Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines, veterans and community members.
The US Army Garrison stationed at Fort Devens showed their gratitude towards Hanscom Composite Squadron by presenting each member with their unique challenge coin and a certificate of appreciation from the U.S. Army Garrison Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Steven F. Egan.
Many of our Soldier, Sailors, Marines, and Airmen pay the ultimate price to ensure Americans will continue to enjoy the freedom our country was founded on. Wreaths Across America is dedicated to honoring and remembering their service and sacrifice so that no one is forgotten.
Civil Air Patrol Cadets of Hanscom Composite Squadron worked tirelessly to gather sponsorship for the wreaths and special thanks goes out to the USAF Airmen, their families stationed at Hanscom AFB and all of the other Base personnel who contributed to make this possible.
